Welcome to the Railroad Artifact Preservation Society website! We encourage you to check this site regularly to keep up with our preservation and restoration projects. We have built a model railroad, known as Santa Fe’s Raton Pass Model Railroad, and it is complete and operational.
We welcome your comments and hope you will get involved and support our future museum. If you would like to become a member, visit our online store and join under our Membership section. The store also has many fine books and other merchandise that the railfan and history buff will appreciate. You should also take a look at our Patreon page. As a patron, you will get inside information about everything we are doing plus special offers and perks not available to everyone else.
Everything we do is focused on telling the important story of the people and equipment touched by locomotive development efforts on the Santa Fe which will ultimately culminate in a facility to preserve and interpret Santa Fe Locomotive Development history with a 5,000 SF model railroad and full-size artifacts on display.
